Bournemouth Town Centre BID presents Bournemouth Comedy Festival curated by Coastal Comedy.

This is a fantastic 5 day festival with 20+ acts over 6 town centre locations! Bringing the best names on the circuit to Bournemouth for your laughing pleasure. Adult and family shows are being staged so there is something for everyone.

Zoe took her first steps down the comedy path in 2003 after training as an actress at the Poor School in London and is now a regular on ‘Mock the Week’ and a much-loved figure on ‘Live At The Apollo’, as well as being all over Radio 4.
Zoe now hosts quiz show Lightening on BBC2, has had extensive stints on ‘The News Quiz’, ‘Just A Minute’, ‘The Now Show’ and plenty more and we are delighted to welcome to headline this special show as part of the Bournemouth Comedy Festival.

Andy Askins is a diminutive figure who exudes an air of vulnerability as he steps up to the microphone armed with a guitar and a cheeky grin. It’s an overwhelmingly misleading demeanour which serves to heighten the impact of the killer lines that he delivers.

Also appearing on the night is Joe Wells who’s writing career began when his first book 'Touch and Go Joe' about his experiences of OCD was published. He now writes for 'Have I Got News For You' and many more.
Joe has made a name for himself as a stand-up comic, writer and speaker and now focuses mainly on his unique brand of comedy and has been very successful in many comedy competitions.

Our headliner has become a household name as head of the Greeters Guild. He’s social media megastar Troy Hawke!
You’ve seen him on Tik Tok and YouTube and now you can see him live! Troy Hawke is an erudite home-schooled 1930's throwback...the Errol Flynn of the high street. Educated, sophisticated, but utterly clueless. He tackles modern issues head on in his uniquely untimely manner.
Milo McCabe (AKA Troy Hawke) is a character comedian with over ten years experience on the circuit. His latest show Sigmund Troy'd, won Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival Awards 2022. We cannot wait to welcome him to Lighthouse to close this special show.

Plus the hilarious Jake Lambert who is rising up the comedy ranks fast and is just back from supporting Michael McIntyre on his Australian tour! See him in a small intimate venue whilst you can. Jake’s solo show Liminial was officially one of the best reviewed shows of the 2022 Edinburgh Festival.
Jake who fell into a career as a stand up, after gaining a following on Twitter. He decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. Jake has gone on to support Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen and Rob Beckett on their UK tours as well as writing on Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Now Show, News Quiz and many more.
